Other applications The control systems of the RSV allow it to host any payload up to weights of 50-100kg and to interface with whatever payload is placed on the unit.

Other sectors in which the RSV can be deployed to make operational activity easier and safer are:

• Hazardous sites–including fire, police, nuclear, haz-chem and biohazard environments
• Transport–stretcher recovery of casualties from the scene of fire, CBRN, tube or tunnel accidents
• Military–potential applications include bomb disposal, mine clearing or patrol

The task-specific payload of the RSV can be developed in partnership with clients to deliver the precise technical configuration that meets their needs. Coupled with the affordable nature of the RSV baseline unit, this will drastically reduce the costs associated with developing new application-specific technology.

Ancillaries such as gas, dust and radiation detection equipment can also transmit their results across the network, allowing broad spectrum data monitoring, enabling quick and informed strategic decisions to be taken.
