Surveying: The JP Remote Support Vehicle provides an ideal platform for surveying payloads.
3D scanning systems can be safely transported and operated in any underground scenario on the RSV.
Current applications include mine surveying and sensory monitoring, The RSV has been designed to work in parallel with different manufacturer's payloads, this allows for integration between a customer's preferred manufacturer. Telemetry, visual or numerical data can all be collected from payloads which cannot be carried or would endanger the user if they were not operating remotely.
The unit can be steered and controlled by cable, fibre or radio. A flight-deck style control panel allows surveying data to be displayed together with control data. The RSV can go where people should not go. It can carry loads people cannot carry. It can collect data in minutes which would otherwise take days to acquire.
An optional follow-me facility allows it to carry payloads (or casualties) safely behind rescue personnel.
