Materials
For minimum maintenance the RSV is constructed from corrosion-resistant materials that are also suitable for decontaminating after use in biohazardous sites: Carbon Fibre, Fibreglass, Aluminium, Aluminium Alloy, Phosphor-Bronze, Stainless Steel.

The composite arms attached to the body of the RSV allow ancillary equipment to be bolted to the body.
